Proper Sizing of images:

Images of moderate size allow reasonable speed in download times, and nice appearance on screen, but limit possible reproduction sizes in print. A 350 x 350 pixel image is reproducible in print at about 2.5 in (6,5 cm) thus limiting potential reuse.
Shortcomings:
The image is reproducible at small sizes, and as a web image.
| A 72dpi monitor image (left) can not be printed with any reasonable quality at greater than half the screen size.  |
